I do love (even more) the Defender once it went through the hands of Twisted Performance. These things look awesome ! Power is stock-ish though, at 180 hp. But they did put a Corvette V8 in one of them.

And would you look at these interiors !

Interior quality has always been a point of "lol what is luxury tho" on these until recently, so an upgrade isn't a terrible idea. As an interesting note, with the Rover V8 no longer available in these and the drivetrain ruggedized a bit for the diesel, and a Corvette V8 now meaning aluminum block, an "SBC swap" is no longer the terrible idea it once was. Actually a pretty good idea.

I spent most of November in Germany and my jealous grew so much with all the LR Defenders I saw over there. So simple yet so awesome

I keep sending my wife ebay auctions of ridiculously expensive Land Rovers, then one or too relatively low priced ones. One day I'm going to win her over, it's all about conditioning...

Got to love the Defender. Here's the Twisted LS3 V8 520hp powered Land Rover Defender 110.

Twisted 110 drag racing an Aston Martin GT.

But if you aren't in the mood for performance, how about a camper conversion.

The Defender is like Lego, the only limit is your imagination.
